The OPSIG Achievement Program
Dispatcher Logo

The Dispatcher is a person who has demonstrated competency and experience in serving as operating session Dispatcher on three different model railroads (which can include a layout they own and/or their home club). A requirement for the Dispatcher Achievement is to show competency and experience in three of the following disciplines:

DTC, CTC, TT&TO, Warrants, or other less formal systems for the movement of trains.

In applying for credit toward the Dispatcher Achievement, applicants must submit evidence of their Dispatching experience with dates and a description of the role played at an operating session as well as the host name. Additionally, the layout host for the session will independently and privately verify that, in their opinion, the Dispatching assignment was handled reasonably well by the applicant.
